Position Overview:

This role involves skilled workers performing construction and maintenance work in gas distribution, underground utilities, and gas service lines, with daily interaction with the public. Duties include operating equipment such as backhoes, excavators, vibratory or static plows, trenchers, or directional bore machines for installing, removing, or maintaining underground utilities and pipelines.

Essential Functions:

• Perform construction and maintenance duties related to the natural gas industry.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and operate equipment efficiently.
• Maintain positive interactions with customers and the public.
• Collaborate effectively with team members.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures per company and client standards.
• Load and secure materials or equipment for transport to the job site.
• Install, remove, or maintain underground utilities, including manual labor tasks like carrying, jackhammering, shoveling, tamping, and pipe installation.
• Secure the work site, equipment, and materials at the end of each shift to ensure safety.

Qualifications Required:

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to obtain a CDL, gas construction experience, strong work ethic, and ability to work in a team environment.

Experience Required:

At least 3 years of operating experience on road/construction sites.
