Job summary

Cedar Rapids Community School District is seeking a SEBH Intervention Specialist to provide leadership and coaching on behavioral and social-emotional interventions across all schools.

This role involves developing Tier 3 supports, conducting assessments, and training staff to enhance student outcomes. Candidates should have a strong background in behavioral analysis, experience with evidence-based programs, and excellent communication skills. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and at least three years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of school-based experience implementing behavioral interventions.
• Strong knowledge of MTSS, PBIS, FBA/BIP processes, and evidence-based behavior support frameworks.
• Experience providing social-emotional instruction using AIM, DBT, ACT, or similar evidence-based programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide the development and implementation of Tier 3 SEBH systems across all district schools.
• Conduct and support Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) for students requiring intensive interventions.
• Provide direct coaching to SEBH Intervention Specialists on behavior intervention and social-emotional best practices.
