Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is actively seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Seattle, WA. This role offers nightly shifts (12 hours) with a 36-hour workweek, competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and robust clinical team support.

Ideal candidates will have recent L&D experience, an active RN license, BLS, and NRP certifications. Additional certifications such as AWHONN, STABLE, and ACLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP Certification.

Responsibilities

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families, providing reassurance and addressing concerns.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with obstetric nursing techniques.
• Prepare equipment and aid physician during labor, delivery, and examination of patients.
• Provide immediate postpartum care, including assessment and stabilization of mother and newborn.
• Document patient care, assessments, and interventions accurately in the medical record.
