KPFF Consulting Engineers is seeking a highly experienced Structural Engineer for our Special Projects Group in Seattle, WA. You will apply waterfront and industrial design expertise, lead project tasks, and mentor staff while delivering exceptional client service.

Requirements include the SE license, 8+ years of structural design experience, and proficiency with SAP2000, L-Pile, MS Excel, and VBA. A hybrid work environment supports collaboration across offices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of structural design experience.
• SE license is required.
• Concrete, steel and timber design experience.
• Pile design and bulkhead experience.
• Prestressed concrete and seismic design experience.
• Knowledge of ASCE 61-14, AASHTO, IBC, ASCE-7, AISC, ACI, and NDS.
• Proficiency with SAP2000, L-Pile, MS Excel, and VBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop structural solutions for waterfront and industrial projects.
• Lead project tasks, coordinate timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Perform site visits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.
• Engage clients with clear communication and proactive service.
