Job summary

thefirmconsult, a Seattle-based law firm, is hiring a Plaintiff's Personal Injury Attorney for our office. You will manage a caseload from pre-litigation through resolution and advocate for injured clients.

Required: a J.D., active Washington State Bar, and at least two years of plaintiff's PI experience; strong writing, negotiation, and litigation skills. This full-time position offers a competitive salary, paid time off, professional development, and a collaborative, client-focused work

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Washington State Bar in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of plaintiff's personal injury experience.
• Strong understanding of personal injury law and civil litigation.
• Excellent legal writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to independently manage a caseload in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of plaintiff's personal injury matters from pre-litigation through litigation.
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding the status of their cases.
• Evaluate liability, damages, and case value.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal correspondence.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
• Attend mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and court appearances.
• Collaborate with case managers, paralegals, and support staff to provide exceptional client service.
