Job summary

thefirmconsult in Seattle, WA is seeking an experienced plaintiff attorney to take ownership of meaningful cases, negotiate with insurers, and mentor junior staff. This in-office role offers direct leadership opportunities, a collaborative team, and a path to growth within a growing plaintiff firm.

You'll work closely with leadership, manage cases from filing to resolution, use technology and AI tools to improve efficiency, and serve clients through challenging times.

Qualifications

• J.D. and active Washington State Bar license, or ability to waive in.
• Personal injury litigation experience preferred.
• Strong insurance defense litigators with significant deposition experience are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Handle personal injury matters from litigation through resolution.
• Negotiate directly with insurance companies.
• Draft, file, and argue motions in Superior and Federal Court.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Handle arbitrations.
• Guide clients through every stage of the litigation process.
• Collaborate with the team to improve processes and client service.
• Utilize technology, including case management software and AI tools, to improve efficiency.
