Job summary

Apex Systems, LLC seeks an EV Charging Systems Verification Engineer to join a Seattle-based, on-site team. 40 hrs/week with no OT, 25% travel regionally, 60–70 USD/hr. The role focuses on reliability and safety testing for large EV charging networks with vendors and internal teams.

Strong documentation and test automation are essential. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in systems development, integration, and testing, plus DFMEA and protocol experience (OCPP, ISO15118, CAN, Modbus).

Qualifications

• Experience in systems development, integration, and testing.
• Ability to interpret electrical/mechanical drawings and specs.
• DFMEA experience.
• Experience with test planning, execution, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and test EV charging subsystems, power supplies and converters.
• Develop and execute System Integration Tests; document results.
• Use oscilloscopes and analyzers; collect and analyze data.
• Support field deployments; manage subcontractor relationships.
