Job summary

ERM is seeking a Senior Health and Safety (EHS) Consultant to support our technology client on-site in Redmond, WA. This full-time, minimum 4-month role emphasizes OSHA requirements, hazard recognition, Job Hazard Analysis, and risk-based EHS practices across labs.

The ideal candidate will have 7–15 years of EHS experience, with strong incident investigation and training skills. A CIH/CSP/ASP designation is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• 7–15 years of EHS health & safety experience, ideally in tech/industrial settings.
• CIH/CSP/ASP certification a plus but not required.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments for new equipment and labs.
• Provide weekly activity reports to EHS Managers and Senior Specialists.
• Support Safety Committee Meetings and Safety Walks.
• Assist with Emergency Action Plans and drills.
• Perform compliance audits against health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Assist with near-miss/incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Calibrate/maintain direct-reading instruments as needed.
• Be the voice of workers’ safety needs at assigned labs.
• Develop EHS procedures, permits and reports.
• Train and coach field teams on EHS best practices.
