Job summary

Venture Dynamics is seeking skilled Marine Electricians to join our Seattle team. You will repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits aboard vessels in shipyard facilities, following IEEE45 rules for AC and DC installations.

Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manuals, mounting panels, wiring harnesses, and testing systems while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of AC and DC circuits and IEEE45 regulations.
• Ability to work with voltages up to 480V.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits, cables, and equipment aboard vessels.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Commission and test motors, generators, control systems, and lighting.
• Mount and install power distribution panels and terminate cables.
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, ship alarms, and other controls.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards and attend meetings.
