Job summary

Bargreen Ellingson in Seattle is seeking a Chemical Service Technician to service commercial appliances for restaurants, hotels, schools, and other customers. You will manage a service territory, install and maintain chemical dispensers and dish machines, and perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment runs smoothly.

The role requires a dependable, mechanically minded professional with strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state driver license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and long hours with mandatory overtime and on-call status.
• Regular attendance is essential.
• Must have at least 2 years warewash, laundry, or similar experience.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage territory with exceptional service to customer accounts.
• Install and maintain chemical dispensers at restaurants, laundry, grocery and health care facilities.
• Install and maintain dish machines from under-counter to conveyor units.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance visits at customer accounts.
• Maintain appearance and upkeep of service vehicle.
• Manage parts inventory and conduct cycle counts for assigned vehicle.
• Respond to and resolve emergency service calls during business hours and on-call periods.
• Foster positive relationships with customers, sales reps, suppliers, and coworkers.
