Job summary

Knoll Inc. seeks an Operations Work Team Leader for the Seating department on first shift. You will oversee daily manufacturing operations, lead the team of associates and leads, and drive safety, quality, and on-time production.

Responsibilities include planning with the daily production schedule, coaching employees, and implementing Lean initiatives such as kaizen events. Strong problem-solving and ERP experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Requires 4-year degree or equivalent preferred.
• Lead and participate in kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience in safety, quality, and production planning in seating/manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective relationships across all levels.
• Plan and lead daily manufacturing activities using production schedule.
• Assign employees to complete operations and ensure safety and efficiency.
• Lead kaizen events and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor training, evaluations, and performance improvement plans.
• Track work orders to ensure on-time shipments.
• Maintain adherence to company policies and lean principles.
• Support ISO 14001/9001 compliance.
