Job summary

Shearer’s Foods, Inc. in Massillon, OH is hiring a Food Processing Machine Operator (Seasoner) to set up and operate equipment, follow recipes and conduct quality tests with data collection. Shift options include day 7AM–7PM or night 7PM–7AM at $22.00/hr.

Qualifications

• 1-2 Years experience in food manufacturing machine operating and troubleshooting preferred.
• Food Safety Handling, GMP Compliance and Quality Assurance knowledge skills and abilities a plus

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate industrial food equipment.
• Follow precise recipes and work procedures.
• Monitor processing variables and perform product quality tests and data collection.
• React to direction from QA and management personnel.
• Work with allergens, chemicals and extreme environmental temperatures.
• Use of hand tools.
• Complete changeovers within allotted time and plan breaks around activity.
