Job summary

OU Health is seeking an Experienced RN for the Medicine Step Down unit on Day shifts. The RN I will provide high-quality hospital care, document patient responses, and assist physicians with examinations and procedures while upholding OU Health’s core values.

Minimum qualifications include an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, a current RN license (Oklahoma or multistate compact), and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Education requires nursing degree and licensure.
• 0-3 years of patient care experience.
• CurrentRN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to assigned patients per physician orders.
• Document responses to interventions and changes in physician orders.
• Assist physicians in examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
• Monitor and administer medications and IV infusions.
• Communicate care plans to patients and families; refer needs as appropriate.
• Uphold OU Health values and professional standards and maintain competence.
