OU Health is seeking an Experienced RN for Medicine Step Down in Oklahoma City. The RN I role supports patients with a range of conditions from simple to complex, under supervision, while upholding OU Health’s values and high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• 0-3 years of experience in patient care as an RN.
• Current RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a valid multistate compact license (eNLC).
• Basic Life Support (AHA) certification required upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Aligns behaviors with OU Health values and maintains nursing professional practice standards.
• Assumes responsibility for an assigned patient or group of patients.
• Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed treatments.
• Assists physicians in examination and minor procedures.
• Monitors physiological data and intervenes when necessary.
• Delivers medications and administers IV infusions and blood products.
• Communicates care plans during admission, transfer, and discharge.
• Maintains patient safety, quality of care, and collaboration with the care team.
