Job summary

OU Health on the 3rd Floor Overflow unit seeks an Experienced RN-Registered Nurse III for day shifts. You will provide patient-centered care across a range of acute conditions, document responses, assists physicians, administer meds, manage IV infusions, and mentor junior staff while advancing evidence-based practice.

Requires a Bachelor's in Nursing, 5+ years' RN experience, RN licensure in Oklahoma (or eNLC), BLS on hire, with specialty certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• 5+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current RN license in Oklahoma or eNLC; BLS required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Document patient responses to interventions and changes in orders.
• Administer medications and monitor IV infusions and blood products.
• Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures as needed.
• Mentor and coach junior staff; lead by example in evidence-based practice.
• Coordinate care plans and communicate with patients and families.
