Job summary

Pinehurst Resort in Pinehurst, NC is seeking a dedicated cook to join our culinary team. You will follow recipes, maintain quality and ensure timely production of dishes in line with Pinehurst standards.

Under the direction of the Resort Executive Chef or Sous Chefs, you will contribute to a clean, sanitary workstation, proper food rotation, and consistent plating to support a superior guest dining experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and a minimum of 1 year related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to produce food in a timely manner.
• Maintain a neat, clean and sanitary workstation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production of food in a timely manner.
• Prepare food so that quality, taste and appearance of food is in accordance with Pinehurst standards.
• Control proper usage and rotation of food.
• Ensure food quality and appearance on buffet, and plated food, is in accordance with Pinehurst standards.
• Maintain walk-in coolers and food storage areas on a daily basis.
