Job summary

Haddad Plumbing and Heating Inc. is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The technician will support the HVAC department by performing preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting and service of commercial and industrial HVAC systems.

The role involves testing and analyzing data to ensure proper equipment function and making recommendations as appropriate. Typical hours are Monday–Friday with potential Saturday work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification required.
• 5 years of HVAC maintenance and repair experience.
• Skilled at servicing heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment.
• Strong communication with customers and ability to resolve issues.
• Familiarity with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
• Punctuality and commitment to high quality work.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and service repairs, install new units or replace parts per specifications.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair of commercial HVAC equipment.
• Inspect equipment and diagnose issues to prevent breakdowns and callbacks.
• Coordinate with dispatch to complete scheduled jobs.
• Handle delivery and removal of parts and equipment for service work.
• Generate work orders addressing deficiencies.
• Adhere to safety standards and use PPE as prescribed.
