Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or HSE preferred.
• Must possess a valid Class A or Class B CDL.
• Must pass a drug test as a condition of employment.
• Must be able to move 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate highway maintenance and traffic equipment to maintain and repair highways and right-of-way.
• Move and load supplies and materials.
• Winter operations including snow/ice removal.
• Emergency response tasks: traffic control, lane closures, signage, barricades.
• Equipment maintenance: minor repairs, refueling, pre-trip inspections.
• Follow INDOT safety policies and procedures.
• Document tasks in the Work Management System (WMS).
