Job summary

UPS is seeking a warehouse supervisor to lead and develop workgroups focused on safety, productivity, and accuracy. You will supervise, train, and drive attendance while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred
• Management experience - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensure employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times, in compliance with department, station, corporate and local government requirements.
• Manages department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment with proactive communication and collaboration.
• Implements development plans to support ongoing professional growth of staff.
• Ensures orientation and safety training, proper materials, and regular evaluations for all staff.
• Ensures adherence to safety policies at all times.
