Job summary

UPS seeks a supervisor to oversee safety, production, and attendance in a fast-paced warehouse. This role trains, develops, and leads workgroups while maintaining high standards of productivity, accuracy, and customer service across all levels of the organization.

You will cultivate positive relationships with staff and management, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with safety policies. Seasonal (Seasonal) employment with benefits is offered to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours up to 5 days per week, with early morning shifts.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures at all times, in compliance with department, station, corporate and local government requirements.
• Manages department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment with proactive communication and cross-departmental cooperation.
• Implements employee development plans for ongoing growth.
• Ensures orientation, training, materials, and evaluations for department personnel.
• Ensures safety policies are followed by all employees.
