Job summary

UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. seeks a seasonal supervisor to lead safety, production and attendance across a warehouse team. You will train staff, enforce policies, and optimize output with a focus on accuracy and customer service.

You will manage resources, coach employees, and foster a positive, collaborative environment. Prior management experience is preferred; bachelor's degree is a plus. This is an onsite seasonal role in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - preferred
• Management experience - preferred

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensure all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times, operating in full compliance with department, station, corporate and local government requirements.
• Manages department resources to ensure maximum output, accuracy, and efficiency at all times.
• Establishes and promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing employee involvement, pro-active communication, inter-departmental cooperation, and continual improvement.
• Implements employee personal development plans as required to ensure the continuing professional growth of department personnel.
• Ensures all department employees receive orientation, skills and safety training, appropriate materials and information, regular evaluations, and pro-active coaching.
• Ensures all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times.
