Job summary

Backcountry is hiring for a Seasonal Merchandise Processor in our warehouse. Responsibilities include packing orders, loading packages for shipment, and maintaining accuracy across inventory and labels. The role requires standing, bending, and lifting throughout shifts.

Three fixed shifts are available: AM, PM, and Weekend; overtime may be required. Seasonal employees may be eligible for a discount, with no benefits offered. Apply to join a fast-moving fulfillment team during our peak period.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Ability to read and audit labels.
• English language comprehension required.
• Fundamental math skills required.
• Ability to follow established procedures and oral/written instructions.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Computer skills including internet and email.

Responsibilities

• Stand and walk for your entire shift.
• Read and audit labels.
• Identify, count, and sort packages and inventory with high accuracy.
• Differentiate between shipping methods and sort packages accordingly.
• Use automated packaging equipment.
• Participate in team meetings and provide feedback as appropriate.
• Maintain a clean workspace.
• Assist with inventory issues and LEAN initiatives.
