Job summary

Backcountry is hiring a Merchandise Processor for our warehouse team. This seasonal role involves packing orders, loading packages, and moving gear from entry to shipment.

Three steady shifts are available, with hourly rates from $15.00 to $17.00, including shift differentials on some shifts. The schedule is fixed, with no flexible hours.

Ideal candidates enjoy hands-on work, stand for long periods, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Overtime may be possible during peak season.

Qualifications

• Seasonal position with a maximum six-month term.
• Seasonal employees may not receive benefits; employee discount is offered.

Responsibilities

• Stand and walk for your entire shift.
• Read and audit labels.
• Identify, count, and sort packages and inventory accurately.
• Differentiate shipping methods and sort accordingly.
• Use automated packaging equipment.
• Participate in team meetings, follow guidance, and provide feedback as appropriate.
• Maintain a clean workspace.
• Resolve inventory issues to ensure accuracy.
• Perform other duties as needed.
