Job summary

CandleScience Distribution Center in Durham, NC is seeking motivated Warehouse Operations & Fulfillment Associates for seasonal work through the end of 2026. You will support daily warehouse tasks across multiple areas—from picking and packing to inventory counts and carrier preparation—working in a fast-paced environment with a team that values safety and accuracy.

You’ll handle 8- or 10-hour shifts, day/evening options, and weekend availability as needed, with potential for strong performers

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Warehouse experience: 1 year preferred
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and stand for long periods
• Basic computer skills and comfort learning warehouse technology
• Strong attendance and punctuality

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick customer orders using warehouse systems and equipment
• Pack orders safely and efficiently according to established standards
• Prepare orders for UPS, USPS, freight, and other carriers
• Replenish inventory and maintain organized warehouse locations
• Perform inventory counts and help maintain inventory accuracy
• Operate warehouse equipment safely after completing required training
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety requirements
• Work efficiently while maintaining quality and accuracy
• Communicate with leads, supervisors, and teammates regarding priorities and issues
• Assist other departments and warehouse functions when business needs require it
• Contribute to continuous improvement and help the team find better ways to work
