CandleScience Distribution Center in Durham, NC is hiring seasonal Warehouse Operations & Fulfillment Associates. Positions are full-time seasonal through the end of 2026 with potential for full-time, permanent roles based on performance and business needs.

Shifts are 8 or 10 hours, with day, early, late, and weekend options. The role supports order picking, packing, replenishment, inventory, and shipping in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, manufacturing, or similar work experience preferred but not required
• Ability to understand and perform pick/pack/ship operations
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs
• Ability to walk and remain active for extended periods
• Basic computer skills and comfort learning warehouse technology
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to work safely and follow established procedures
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass required background check
• Willingness to work early or late shifts based on business needs
• Willingness and ability to work weekend shifts, including Saturday, Sunday, or both, when scheduled

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick customer orders using warehouse systems and equipment
• Pack orders safely and efficiently according to established standards
• Prepare orders for UPS, USPS, freight, and other carriers
• Replenish inventory and maintain organized warehouse locations
• Perform inventory counts and help maintain inventory accuracy
• Operate warehouse equipment safely after completing required training
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety requirements
• Work efficiently while maintaining quality and accuracy
• Communicate with leads, supervisors, and teammates regarding priorities and issues
• Assist other departments and warehouse functions when business needs require it
• Contribute to continuous improvement and help the team find better ways to work
