UPS in Connecticut is seeking a seasonal supervisor to supervise and develop workgroups focused on safety, production and attendance. You will set high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization and communication.

The role requires lifting up to 70 lbs, flexibility in shifts, strong communication and MS Office skills, and prior management experience is preferred for advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs (32 kg).
• Available to work flexible shifts up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent (preferred).
• Management experience (preferred).

• Supervises, trains, develops, and leads workgroups responsible for safety, production and attendance.
• Establishes high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, cooperation and safety.
• Fosters positive relationships with employees, management and customers.
• Facilitates training for new and current employees.
• Ensures adherence to safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Manages department resources to maximize output and efficiency.
• Implements development plans and proactive coaching for staff.
