Job summary

UPS is seeking a Seasonal Supervisor to supervise, train, develop, and lead workgroups responsible for safety, production, and attendance. The role sets high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety.

The position emphasizes innovative leadership and cross-team collaboration while ensuring compliance with department, station, corporate and local government requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent preferred.
• Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures at all times, operating in full compliance with department, station, corporate and local government requirements.
• Manages department resources to ensure maximum output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Establishes and promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing employee involvement and continual improvement.
• Implements employee development plans to support growth.
• Ensures orientation, skills and safety training, and regular evaluations for all department personnel.
• Ensures all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures.
