Job summary

Sur La Table is seeking a Seasonal Department Lead in Indiana to coordinate daily warehouse workflow, train associates, and ensure accurate picking, packing, and shipping procedures. The role reports to a Distribution Supervisor or Operations Manager and supports cross-functional teams to achieve daily goals.

The ideal candidate will have leadership experience in a fast-paced warehouse, proficiency with warehouse systems and handheld devices, and a focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Prior leadership experience in a warehouse or retail distribution setting.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and handheld devices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to train others.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily workload flow and assign/adjust tasks to meet production goals.
• Train associates to department standards and SOPs.
• Perform procedures to maintain quality and safety in picking/packing/shipping.
• Meet quality and productivity targets and help cross-functional teams as needed.
• Record time worked and maintain accurate documentation and housekeeping.
