Job summary

AgVantage FS in New Hampton, IA is seeking a Laborer, General (Seasonal) to support daily retail operations and inventory control at the New Hampton facility. The role involves stocking, moving warehouse items, assisting both full-time and part-time staff, and helping improve efficiency while adhering to safety rules.

The position may require driving and delivering miscellaneous products as needed and working hours beyond the normal schedule to meet seasonal demands.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of retail-related work experience.
• Ability to manage basic inventory and understand stock levels.
• Good communication with customers and team members.
• Ability to follow safety rules and maintain equipment.
• Willingness to work varied hours, including peaks.
• Driver’s license with clean record may be required.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to perform duties in different weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining operations at the retail supply location.
• Follows maintenance schedule of facility and equipment.
• Responsible for inventory and distribution of products.
• Drives and delivers miscellaneous products as requested.
• Stocks and moves warehouse product and material.
• Assists both full-time and part-time operations personnel.
• Maintains the facility and equipment image.
• Assists in obtaining goals by improving efficiency and reducing costs.
• Works with location manager on safety and compliance issues.
