Job summary

AgVantage FS in Jesup, IA is seeking a Laborer, General (Seasonal) to support daily operations at the retail supply location. The role involves inventory management, assisting with distribution, and delivering products as needed.

You will follow the facility maintenance schedule, work with the location manager on safety and compliance, and be prepared for nonstandard hours during peak seasonal demand. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are commonly required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of retail related experience.
• Essential abilities include business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Frequently required to lift 51-70 lbs as needed.
• May work hours beyond normal to meet seasonal demands.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operations at retail supply location.
• Follow maintenance schedule of facility and equipment.
• Inventory and distribution of products.
• Drives and delivers miscellaneous products as requested.
• Stocks and moves warehouse product and material.
• Assists location manager on safety and compliance issues.
• Works with colleagues to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
