Job summary

Alabama Outdoors is seeking a dependable Warehouse Helper/Assistant for the busy Q4 season. This full-time, seasonal role moves products from arrival in the warehouse to shelves in local stores, with responsibilities spanning receiving, sorting, staging, packing, and delivery along a set route.

You will operate basic warehouse equipment, lift up to 50 lbs, and help maintain a clean, organized space. Flexible schedule and team-oriented environment encouraged.

Qualifications

• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting for long shifts.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented with a solid work ethic.
• Able to follow instructions and safely operate basic warehouse equipment.
• Available to work full-time through Q4, including peak weeks.
• Previous warehouse/shipping/receiving/delivery experience is a plus, not required.
• Driver's license is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, verify counts, check for damage against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Unload, sort, and stage inventory in the warehouse efficiently.
• Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments and store transfers.
• Load and deliver products to local Alabama Outdoors store locations on a set route.
• Safely lift, carry, and move boxes and merchandise, including heavier items.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock organization as needed.
• Support other warehouse/logistics tasks, especially during peak volume.
