Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Warehouse Worker for a seasonal role in Hueytown, AL. The position supports distribution, receiving, inventory, and order fulfillment in a fast-paced food warehouse environment.

You will participate in all warehouse functions, receive and verify products, and ensure accurate inventories while adhering to AVI policies and safety procedures. This seasonal role offers training and growth opportunities within a family-oriented team.

Qualifications

• Previous large food warehouse experience is preferred.
• Great work ethic.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Exposure to temperature extremes and humidity.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse.
• Receive products coming into the warehouse.
• Verify quantity and description of products.
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped.
• Stock incoming orders.
• Maintain accurate physical inventories.
• Ensure all distribution and receiving in a timely and orderly manner.
• Follow proper receiving procedures.
• Comply with AVI policies and procedures, including but not limited to security procedures.
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns).
