Job summary

Macy's in Wheaton, MD seeks a Merchandising Colleague to deliver an inspiring in-store experience. You’ll move merchandise, maintain displays, and ensure pricing and signage are accurate while greeting customers with genuine hospitality.

You’ll collaborate across departments to meet sales goals, learn product details, use POS tech, and help build relationships with customers to drive loyalty and repeat visits.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Ability to learn about products and provide expert guidance to customers.
• Ability to acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits.

Responsibilities

• Move merchandise and placement to support visual merchandising.
• Maintain organized and shoppable displays and ensure pricing/signage accuracy.
• Greet customers with hospitality and offer assistance to create a welcoming experience.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to meet sales goals and support service.
• Support store operations by restocking, reorganizing displays, and preparing the space for the next day.
