MedVet is seeking a Nursing Technician Assistant for a seasonal role in New Orleans. The position supports veterinary teams, ensuring patient care, precise documentation, and efficient clerical tasks.

The role includes supervising stable patients, restraining patients as needed, and restocking supplies. Ideal candidates have veterinary experience, strong communication and client-service skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinary technicians in ensuring patients receive quality care.
• Assist in ensuring documentation is accurate and complete.
• Assist with oversight and care of stable patients.
• Assist Veterinary Technicians with patient restraint.
• Manage restocking of supplies for clinical teams.
• Maintain clean treatment areas and manage laundry needs of department.
