Job summary

Dead River Company is seeking a seasonal Wash Bay Attendant to keep vehicles, buildings, bulk plants, and grounds clean and well-maintained in Bucksport, ME. The role includes washing vehicles daily, buffing, polishing, and assisting in routine maintenance.

A Class B CDL with hazmat, air brake, and tank endorsements may be preferred. The position offers hourly pay ranging from $17.41 to $26.11 depending on experience, plus an end-of-season bonus up to $1,000.

Qualifications

• No experience required; familiarity with shop equipment and mechanical aptitude preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; vocational/technical training in automotive mechanics desirable.

Responsibilities

• Wash vehicles daily to maintain a quality company image.
• Buff and polish truck tanks, paint parts, and assist in routine maintenance.
• Assist in moving or lifting appliances, tanks, and heating equipment.
• Assist the mechanic with maintenance and repairs.
• Deliver petroleum products as needed with proper licensing.
• Participate in special projects as necessary.
