LAZ Parking California, LLC is seeking a Seasonal Traffic Controller in Costa Mesa, CA. The role pays $21.00 per hour and runs 11/15 to 12/26, with required weekend availability.

You will greet customers, direct traffic, and assist with pay stations, providing excellent service while maintaining safety and efficiency in a busy environment. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, strong English communication skills, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.

** THE DETAILS**

• Position: Traffic Control
• Pay Rate:$21.00/Hr
• Schedule:***SEASONAL 11/15 - 12/26must be available to work weekends! ***

The Spirit of the Position:

TheTraffic Controllerdirects traffic and helps keep the flow of traffic moving on a specific route and/or direction. Attention to detail and ability to handle a high volume of cars is preferred.Provide excellent customer service, assist customers with using pay stations and credit card payments.

Principal Job Duties:

• Greet customers and display a caring attitude, develop a rapport with the parkers in your assigned area.
• Assist customers in lots/garages and help direct traffic.
• Promote good customer relations by consistently showing a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude, and willingness to help at all times.
• Must work with or without supervision.
• Other related duties as assigned
• Actively look for ways to assist customers

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required.

Skills:

• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
• Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
• Must be open to feedback, differing opinions and other points of view.

Physical Demands:

• Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, rain, etc.
• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 10 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
• Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
• Ability to utilize two hands to hold flag and sign while directing traffic.
