Job summary

Galaxy Theatres in Sparks, NV is seeking friendly, customer-focused team members for a seasonal position through January 31. You will sell tickets at the box office, operate a POS, greet guests, check tickets, and share showtime information.

Additional duties include answering phones, preparing concessions, stocking supplies, cleaning, monitoring crowd behavior for safety, and conducting general inspections of the facility.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or cash-handling experience is a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sell tickets at the box office using a point-of-sale system.
• Operate cash registers and handle cash, credit, and mobile transactions.
• Greet and assist guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Check tickets at theater entrances and guide guests.
• Provide showtime information and theater policies.
• Answer phones and transfer calls as needed.
• Prepare food and beverages at the concession stand.
• Stock concessions and cleaning supplies.
• Perform cleaning duties in lobby and auditoriums.
• Monitor crowd behavior and support crowd control.
• Conduct general inspections for safety and cleanliness.
