Job summary

Crotched Mountain in Bennington, NH is hiring for winter 2026/27 for the Assistant Manager, Terrain Park Snow Surfaces. Lead daily terrain park operations, supervise staff, coordinate with the Snow Surfaces Manager to deliver safe, innovative experiences.

Responsibilities include recruiting, scheduling, training, feature design support, and ensuring safety standards. The role serves as acting department leader when the manager is unavailable, with opportunities to grow and enjoy industry-leading

Qualifications

• Advanced skiing or snowboarding ability.
• Leadership, supervisory, or crew lead experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Safe & Exceptional Operations.
• Oversee daily Terrain Park operations and venue readiness.
• Support terrain feature construction, maintenance, inspections, and risk management.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and operating procedures.
• Partner with Grooming, Snowmaking, Ski Patrol, Lift Operations, and Trail Maintenance teams.
• Build & Develop High-Performing Teams across Snow Surfaces.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training employees.
• Develop schedules and staffing plans to support operational needs.
• Coach employees, provide performance feedback, and foster accountability.
• Promote employee engagement, recognition, and professional growth.
• Drive Operational Excellence.
• Coordinate labor resources across Terrain Parks and Snow Surfaces operations.
• Support budgeting, inventory management, and departmental reporting.
• Monitor terrain quality, operational performance, and guest feedback.
• Support special events, competitions, and resort initiatives.
