Job summary

Marquette Mountain Resort in Michigan is seeking a Terrain Park Builder/Supervisor to design, construct, and maintain parks, pipes, rails and features. You will manage daytime operations, supervise the summer maintenance program, and coordinate with patrol and grooming teams.

The role requires overseeing staff, payroll, and expenditures, while ensuring safety and event execution for the season from Oct 14, 2026 to Apr 14, 2027.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Two years’ experience in mountain bike or ski area preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work manual labor in all weather.
• Proficiency in alpine and lift operations.
• Familiarity with OSHA/MIOSHA safety standards.
• Proficient keyboarding skills and knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Design park layouts based on mountain features and realize plans.
• Forecast builds and plan park layouts and snow-making needs.
• Maintain park and feature logs, signage, and safety.
• Supervise and schedule terrain park staff according to business needs.
• Oversee payroll and department expenditures.
• Coordinate with ski patrol, grooming, snowmaking, lifts and other departments.
• Train staff to NSAA standards and ANSI code requirements.
• Assist with snowmaking and grooming operations.
• Plan and develop next season parks and features.
