Job summary

Marquette Mountain is seeking a Terrain Park Builder/Supervisor to design, build, and maintain world-class terrain parks, pipes, rails, and features. The role includes daily park operations, supervising summer maintenance, and coordinating with GM and Mountain Ops.

The position is seasonal from October 14, 2026 to April 14, 2027, with responsibility for safety and staff training. The ideal candidate has at least two years in mountain bike or ski area work, strong communication, and the ability

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; two years in mountain bike or ski area preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; able to plan ahead and manage schedules.
• Willingness to perform manual labor in all weather conditions; operate park equipment.
• Knowledge of OSHA/MIOSHA safety standards; able to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Proficiency with keyboarding and basic office tools (Google Workspace/Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Design terrain park layouts considering natural features and turn plans into reality.
• Forecast park builds and snowmaking needs; plan park layouts and operations.
• Maintain logs of daily maintenance for every feature and safety checks.
• Oversee signage, fencing, features, and access points; ensure safety for the public.
• Manage staff scheduling, payroll accuracy, and department expenditures.
• Coordinate with other departments (ski patrol, grooming, snowmaking, lifts).
• Train staff to NSAA standards and ANSI code requirements.
