Job summary

Applegreen USA, based in New Jersey, is seeking a Team Member to deliver exceptional customer service, assist with food preparation, and maintain a clean, efficient plaza environment. This role supports our travelers and daily operations across multiple brands.

The position is seasonal, with a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. The successful candidate will handle cash transactions, assist customers, and uphold safety and quality standards in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with travelers.
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) system and process payments accurately.
• Ensure proper food handling, wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating and checking temperatures.
• Complete kitchen-related tasks including prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services available in the plaza.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
