Job summary

Applegreen USA operates travel plazas across the Northeast and Midwest and is hiring a Team Member for the Operations department. You will deliver exceptional customer service, process payments, and assist with stocking and food preparation.

This non-exempt, seasonal role requires flexibility to work peak periods and weekends. A positive attitude, reliability, and good communication are essential for serving travelers.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service and engage with travelers.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Follow food safety: wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks: prep, thaw, cook, package, wrap, clean.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Know products and services available in the plaza.
• Follow brand standards and safety requirements.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
