Job summary

Applegreen USA operates over 80 travel plazas across the Northeast and Midwest, providing convenience, retail and a wide range of food options. As a Team Member in our Operations department, you will deliver friendly customer service, help keep the plaza clean, stock products, and assist in daily cash handling.

This role requires flexibility for days, nights, weekends and holidays, with duties under the General Manager to support a fast-paced, guest‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service to travelers.
• Operate POS system and process payments accurately.
• Follow food safety, labeling, dating, stocking, and temperature controls.
• Prepare, stock, wrap and label food items; assist in kitchen tasks.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products to boost sales.
• Maintain product knowledge and brand standards.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
