Job summary

TaxAct is seeking a Supervisor, TaxAct Xpert - Seasonal to lead daily operations in a fast-paced environment. You will train and mentor staff who provide expert tax guidance and review tax calculations within our online software.

You will monitor performance, coach agents, and ensure compliance with Circular 230 and other regulations, while driving process improvements and quality assurance across queues.

Qualifications

• Five or more years preparing federal individual income tax returns.
• Valid PTIN and active credentials: EA, CPA or tax attorney.
• 2-3 years supervisory experience in call center.
• Experience with online tax software.
• 2+ years MS Office suite including Teams/SharePoint.
• Proven experience conducting tax research from trustworthy sources.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail; multitask efficiently; strong problem-solving.
• Willing to obtain private, dedicated hardwired internet connection.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and assist seasonal credentialed tax professionals.
• Provide weekly one-on-one progress tracking/coaching sessions with your team.
• Follow Circular 230, Internal Revenue Code, and Treasury Regulations.
• Monitor agent schedules for adherence.
• Perform QA of tax experts and Lead interactions.
• Assist tax experts with technical and operational support.
• Interview candidates for seasonal expert roles.
