Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Tax Professional to help clients with diverse tax needs, using advanced training to deliver accurate returns and proactive guidance. You’ll build lasting client relationships with support from a specialized tax team.

You’ll conduct interviews in person or via virtual tools, prepare returns, and identify opportunities to expand services, while staying compliant with IRS requirements and franchise guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred.
• Experience completing individual, trust, and partnership returns.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience valued.
• Must be able to mentor teammates.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.
