You will conduct interviews, prepare returns, and provide IRS support while driving client growth and retention. This role values experience with complex tax scenarios, virtual interviewing, and professional certifications, and requires a strong client-focused mindset in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all IRS and applicable state requirements.
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support (including audit representations for Circular 230 professionals). Mentor and support teammates.
