H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse needs. You’ll receive advanced tax training and work with an expert team to help clients make informed financial decisions.

Responsibilities include conducting tax interviews, preparing returns, driving client growth, and providing IRS support, with mentorship to teammates. Strong communication and working well in a fast-paced setting are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support (see subitems for certification).
• Mentor and support teammates.
