Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Tax Professional to help clients navigate complex returns with the support of an experienced team. You’ll build client relationships and deliver tax training to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

You will conduct tax interviews via in-person or virtual tools, prepare accurate returns, and support growth through additional services while maintaining IRS compliance and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• CPA or EA certification preferred.
• 5+ years in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience completing individual, trust or partnership returns.
• Comfort with virtual tax interviews and IRS support.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and via virtual tools.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, boost client retention, and offer products/services.
• Provide clients with IRS support and notice services where applicable.
• Mentor and support teammates.
