Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Tax Professional to help clients with diverse tax needs while benefiting from expert training and support. You’ll build lasting relationships and deliver confident, informed guidance.

As an experienced Tax Professional, you’ll conduct client interviews (in person or virtually), prepare accurate returns, and identify opportunities to grow the practice. Prior CPA/audit exposure is a plus; a Bachelor’s in accounting or related field is required.

Qualifications

• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews (video/phone/chat).
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support; assist with notices and correspondence when needed.
