H&R Block is seeking a seasonal tax professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs and provide excellent tax support. You will participate in advanced tax training and work with an expert team to deliver accurate returns for individuals, trusts and partnerships.

The role emphasizes conducting interviews both in person and virtually, preparing complete tax returns, and driving client growth while mentoring teammates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.
• Mentor and support teammates.
